Sony Camera Settings Won't Save
Here are some things to check when your camera isn't saving the settings:
- Make sure you are selecting the Save option after making changes.
- Check out: https://helpguide.sony.net/ilc/1950/v1/en/contents/TP0002647359.html?search=settings and https://helpguide.sony.net/ilc/1950/v1/en/contents/TP0002647288.html?search=settings
- The camera is in standby mode. Make sure that the camera is not in standby mode. If the camera is in standby mode, the settings will not be saved.
- A firmware update is needed. Sony releases firmware updates for its cameras to improve performance and fix bugs. If your camera is not up to date with the latest firmware, it may not be able to save settings.
- There is a problem with the camera. If you have tried all of the above and the camera is still not saving settings, there may be a problem with the camera itself. In this case, you will need to contact Sony for assistance.
